Can I play every day? |
It depends on the club. Currently, most of them
only allow play from Mondays - Fridays as the weekends are reserved
for their members. Access is also dependent on observing the
terms & conditions of
membership. |
| |
Will ASM Golf work with more clubs to offer
access and privileges? |
Yes, the management is constantly approaching
clubs, not only in Malaysia & Singapore but also the region,
for better rates and access for members. Currently, there are
more than 100 clubs offering access
and privileges to AST Golf and we hope to increase this to at
least 200 clubs by 2006. |
| |
Are the access and privileges offered by AST
Golf always the best deals? |
Not necessarily. Sometimes, the clubs will offer
promotional packages which are cheaper than the AST Golf rates.
Our advice is to take advantage of the promotional rates - they
are only offered for a limited time! Once the promotional period
is over, members can still fall back on AST Golf's rates. |
| |
Are friends (non-members) entitled
to the AST Golf access if they go with members? |
No, the rates negotiated with the
clubs are for AST Golf Card members only. Your friends will
have to pay the club rate. |
| |
Can membership be transferred or the card
loaned to friends? |
No, membership is non-transferable. The clubs
will carry out identity checks. If a member is found to have
loaned his card to a friend, the card will be confiscated
and membership revoked. |
| |
Must a member report the loss of his membership
card? |
Yes, if he wants to continue enjoying the benefits
and privileges. A fee of S$20.00 will be charged for replacement
of the card. |
| |
Can AST Golf assist members in obtaining an
official handicap? |
Yes, since August 2001 ASM Golf has offered handicapping
services for AST Golf Card members, however, to maintain
the handicap, members will have to sign up with AST
Golf Card in association with Palm Resort Golf & Country
Club. |
| |
Can I sign up for membership online? |

page. |
