The Par 72 Jack Nicklaus Seaview Course measures 6352 metres. Water hazards and beautifully sculptured bunkers are a feature of this course which was recently voted one of the top five championship courses in Asia. Five different tee locations are offered to suit golfers of all abilities. The Signature hole - the 12th - a par 3, has a stunning backdrop of the South China Sea. Due to the high winds at certain times, club selection can be increased by at least four clubs, especially from the championship tees.

The par 72 Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Course measures 6203 metres. The main feature of this course is the large undulation of the natural landscape. The overall concept for this course was to work closely with the natural site. It is a course that is challenging, yet playable, for all golfers. Five different tee locations are provided to suit golfers of all abilities. The Signature hole - the 8th - the elevated tee at the 526-metre par 5, is a favourite with many. Stretching downhill into the distance before rising to the green, it demands absolute precision from golfers who must negotiate their shots past bunkers, a lake and a solitary tall tree.

Nicklaus’ course offers a smattering of typical Golden Bear design work – majestic bunkering and a strategic use of the natural rolling landscape – with some unique features. The front nine is a great introduction and it is advised you follow the recommendation of resident pro and Australian PGA member, Adrian Lawson.

“We advise anyone going out that, for their own enjoyment, they play from the tees suited to their game. There are five to choose from and unless you play off six or less, forget about the Black championship tees,” he said.

The Woodlands layout was one of Baker-Finch’s first projects as a course designer and it is easy to see he had a flair for the job from the start. Designed with nine holes snaking out from the resort and nine back, the Woodlands course has been laid over dramatically changing terrain, while many of the greens are surrounded by steep slopes and mounds to create an amphitheatre effect. These design characteristics make this course one you won’t easily forget.

From Singapore, get to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to board a high speed Catamaran. Ample car parking space is available at the Ferry Terminal so there are no problems leaving your car. The ferry journey is about 45 minutes. If you are staying at the Resorts / Hotels, 2 way transfers are provided. Alternatively, there's a mini bus service running between the ferry terminal and the various hotels. Bintan Lagoon Resorts can also be accessible from Sister Island and Batam by taking a 35 minutes speedboat ride.
