Originally opened in 1975, the Course has recently undergone a major $30 million reconstruction programme. Max Wexler was commissioned to redesign both the front and back nines as well as include the floodlighting for Night-Golf. The Course is now in excellent condition and a serious challenge for golfers of all handicaps.
Jurong is a Caddie Course. No golf buggies are available. Golfers not possesing handicap cards are expected to take a simple test at the Club Driving Range (Monday to Friday only).
The 18-hole golf course is kept in tip-top condition all year round. As testimony to that, JCC played host to the prestigious Singapore Open for the first time in August, 1997. JCC is also one of a select few in the Asia Pacific region and one of the first in Singapore to offer Night Golfing.

The composite course has Singapore's longest par 5 at 560m. Widened fairways molded with Zoysia grass provide a smooth playing surface, and the course has Bermuda grass on the greens. The course's S$3 million flood-light system with 720 lights strategically deployed throughout the entire course means you can indulge in a round of golf even after dark.
