Professional golfers must be male who are 50 years of age or older on the 1st day of the ASM event.

Amateur golfers can be of any age and gender

AST Members & Host Country Exemptions - US$ 790 @ RM 3,350

4 day / 4 rounds - no hotel package includes:

- US$ 200 tournament entry fee 

- 4 rounds of golf - green, buggy & caddy fees - twin sharing basis

- 1 goodie bag and daily on course refreshments

- Pro-Am / practice round on Mon - dinner included

- 4 X lunch @ golf club on  Mon, Tue, Wed & Thu

US$ 1,090 - less US$ 300 last place prize money = US$ 790 nett

PROs - who are members of foreign PGAs who live and or work in Malaysia and qualify for Host Country Exemption plus members of PGM and the PGA of Malaysia pay AST member's rates

Non-members pay and extra US$ 150 surcharge to play

Only AST members and members of the PGA of Malaysia, Malaysian Nationals and or legal residents are eligible - the package excludes accommodation & transportation

AST members & Host Country Exemptions (HCE) = US$ 790

Non-Member’s of the AST will be charged a US$ 150 surcharge on top of selected members play & stay package

- lapsed members of the AST + US$ 50 surcharge

- professionals who have previously played in an ASM + US$ 50

No Surcharge for professionals (current & past) who:

- are past Champions

- qualify for HCE status

- are Steadfast Septuagenarians aged 70+

- are Outstanding Octogenarians aged 80+

- last place US$ 300 prize money deduction is applied to all pros at registration

- this is deducted from the cost of your - all inclusive play & stay entry fee package 

- if you place 12th or better, last place prize money will be deducted from funds won

- no additional deductions or with-holding taxes are imposed at AST events

- figures based on a min field of 48 professional golfers

Super Seniors (SS) Prize Money - 60+

playing from Blue tees and competing for min US$ 20k main purse

SS Prize Money assumes that there are 10 participants

1st - $ 200

2nd - $ 100

- failing which AST will allocate US$ 20 X number of SS players

- no additional deductions or with-holding taxes are imposed 

- amount and breakdown based on number of participants

AST Qualifying School @ Malaysia (JB) 2025 - US$ 750

Wed 17 to Fri 19 June - Horizon Hills GCC

entries close when a field of 80 professional participants has been realised or on Fri 5 June 2026 at 17.00hrs (Singapore Time) which ever occurs first, there after a US$ 100 surcharge will apply to entries received that might be accepted by the AST
