AST and ASEAN PGA Qualifying School
Asian Seniors Tour Q School is open to male golfers who are at least 48 years of age.
To pass Q School and become eligible for membership of the AST, the AS PGA Tour, and the ASEAN PGA candidates will need to return a 2 day score (2 cards) which total no more than 15 over par during the Q School and or the PRO Qualifier.
Successful candidates who have attained 50 years of age and have paid to become members of AST may then enter and play as professional golfers for prize money in AST and ASEAN PGA tournaments including the AST's Tour Players Championship 2025
ASEAN PGA Q School is staged in conjunction with the AST Q School and ASM PRO Qualifier events and are open to male and female golfers of any age.
Successful candidates who having qualified and paid to join the ASEAN PGA, can then play for prize money in events to be staged by the ASEAN PGA including the inaugural ASEAN Ladies PGA Open commencing in 2025.
Golfers wishing to retain their AMATEUR STATUS can do so and will be eligible to play in AST and ASEAN PGA events under the auspice of their Asian Amateur Golfer (AAG) and ASEAN Amateur credentials and are entitled to the discounted nett priced play and stay packages offered to all participating professionals.
Q Schools are staged prior to all ASM tournaments and in the unfortunate event that a candidate might fail to return the required score during Q School, the candidate may re-take Q School (playing as an amateur) during a PRO Qualifier event that are staged during all ASM professional tournaments, offering amateur golfers the opportunity a 2nd opportunity to qualify as well as to compete alongside and head to head against some of the regions leading amateur golfers and the participating professionals.
Present and past members of any recognised PGA and or Tour are NOT required to under go qualifying school
