Jamel Ondo (Indonesia) the Champion at the 3rd ASM @ Jakarta 2023 at Imperial GC


Day 1 saw Rashid Ismail (Malaysia) leading the field with a slim 1 stroke lead at 71 and nipping very closely at Jamel's heels Tied for 2nd place were Gavin Wedd (Australia), Jamel Ondo (Indonesia) and Roszali Baharuddin (Malaysia) with even Par at 72


Then there were 4 tied for 5th place with 77 were which included Rawi Cander (Indonesia), Kosuke Tanaka (Japan), Shaheen Iqbal (USA) and Zakaria Mohammad (Malaysia) 


Tied for 9th place with 78 were Charles Stephenson (England) and newcomer Juakken Ginting (Indonesia) making his debut on the Asian Seniors Tour


Howard Otten (Australia) fresh from his AST Q School @ Jakarta victory was in 11th place with 79 and rounding off the leaders tied for 12th place were Tony Hutchinson (England) and Rudy Halim (Indonesia) testimony as to the difficulty in which the course was laid out is reflected by the fact that Rudy scored the only EAGLE for the tournament on day 1 on the 11th hole.


Day 2 saw Jamel Ondo (Indonesia) returned the tournament's lowest round of 68 which comfortably propelled him into the lead with a 2 stroke lead over Rashid Ismail (Malaysia) in 2nd place who once again carded a respectable 71 for a 2 day total of 142 ahead of the field comprising Gavin Wedd (Australia) with 145, Roszali Baharuddin (Malaysia) at 148 and Rawi Cander (Indonesia) in 5th place with 150 and trailing in tied 6th place were Zakaria Mohammad (Malaysia) and Charles Stephenson (England) with 155


Day 3 - the Final Day of the 3rd ASM @ Jakarta 2023 at Imperial GC saw Jamel Ondo (Indonesia) card a respectable 72 to ensure his victory and hold off the final day charge and challenge from two Malaysian's Roszali Baharuddin and Rashid Ismail who both returned 73
