14th Asian Senior Masters @ Singapore 2021

Congratulations Tim Pinneger (Singapore) the Champion of the 14th Asian Senior Masters Singapore 2021 presented by

Integra Petrochemicals.  Tim led the tournament from start to finish returning a commendable 2 day total of 146 at 4 over, despite the very wet conditions. 1st runner up was Gary Kwek (Singapore) one of our countries leading professionals based out of Champions Golf Academy who returned a 149

2nd runner up was Kelvin Kwok (Singapore) with 151 with Mark Lamb (England) returning 153 to come in 4th Earlier this year,

Mark just missed qualifying for the Seniors British Open, he was Amateur Champion at the AST’s inaugural 2003 Asian Senior Masters Singapore @ Jurong CC, the first Senior's PGA Tournament to be staged in SE Asia, at which Korea's Choi Yoon Soo emerged victorious against worthy challengers representing PGAs from all over the Asia Pacific, South Africa, Australia along with numerous members of the European Seniors Tour.

It was a pleasure having Samantha Dizon (Philippines) the tournaments Amateur Champion participate, she hails from Marikina City, will join California Baptist University Lancers for the 2022-23 season, was overall girls champion at the JGTA Aspirations at the Bluffs in 2019, won the Sarawak Chief Minister's Cup in 2019 carding 7-under-par and was runner-up at HSBC Youth Golf Challenge 2021 on Mar 16-18 with 8-over-par.

We were pleased to have Troy Storm a 12-year-old Singaporean and fellow SICC member participate, he certainly did the club proud, Troy has for the past 3 years been on our Junior Elite Team, came runner-up in the SICC Junior Champions 2020 (under 18s) at age 11 and become the youngest SICC Junior Champion 2021 (under 18s) at age 12, his score despite the adverse weather conditions certainly put me to shame…. Ha3!!

THANK YOU!! to our sponsors, patrons, all participants, and the staff at the Singapore Island Country Club who helped to ensure that the 14th Asian Senior Masters Singapore 2021 was such a great success and thanks to your support we are pleased to report that this year we raised more than SG$ 100,000 for charity, since 2003 the AST and the ASM tournaments have helped to raise more than US$ 13 million for charity.

AST have taken over management of the ASEAN PGA founded on 9 Jan 2008 which will once again “engage the hearts and minds” and the national pride of the various ASEAN nations golfing communities, business and political leaders as we re-establish the ASEAN PGA Tour circuit, success on the Tour will provide ASEAN’s leading male and female professional golfers with the opportunity to be invited and qualify to represent their country at larger tournaments in Australia, the Asia Pacific region and at Internationally.
