Day 2 saw changes in the top 10 line up with a sub par round on the challenging Red Mountain course being carded by Phuket resident and local favourite Matt Richardson based at Laguna Phuket and Roszali retuning even par...

    1st - Nachimuthu Ramasany (Malaysia) = 68 + 69 = 137

    9th - Abhinav Gorawara (India) = 74 + 80 = 154

We had an exciting last 3 holes at the 11th ASM Thailand 2023 which saw 3 Malaysians in the 4 ball final flight, comprising Nachimuthu, out in front with a comfortable lead followed by Tony Lam and Roszali fighting for 2nd and 3rd place... a brave or some might say rash decision by Tony to use his driver and go for broke on the 16th hole... his 290m drive landed short and came to rest about 3 foot from the pin for a tap in eagle and secured him a 2nd place finish

   1st  Nachimuthu Ramasany (Malaysia) = 68 + 69 + 73 = 210

  2nd  Tony Lam KL (Malaysia) = 72 + 73 + 72 = 217

   3rd  Roszali Baharuddin (Malaysia) = 75 + 72 + 72 = 219

   4th  Matthew Richardson (England) = 74 + 70 + 76 = 220

T - 5th  Nicholas Redfern (England) = 72 + 77 + 73 = 222

T - 5th  Rashid Ismail (Malaysia) = 74 + 74 + 74 = 222

Congratulations!!

Tony Healy (England) the 11th ASM Thailand 2023 - AMATEUR Champion
